Lunch at Our Restaurant (and Recommendations for Other Restaurants in Sweden)

We’d like to share how lunch comes together in our restaurant. Every week—over the course of 52 weeks—we rotate three dishes on the menu: the vegetarian dish of the week, the fish dish of the week, and the meat dish of the week. Our head chef, Richard Moll, and our F&B Manager, André Elmberg, work closely with the kitchen team to meticulously review each dish. Every element is evaluated, and adjustments are made based on the team’s feedback (or if André has discovered something in Greece that simply must make it onto the menu). Seasonality also plays a key role; for example, if it’s salmon season, we’ll serve an exceptional salmon dish.

Our lunch tradition at Avalon has a long history, and we know how to take care of our guests during that special time when you’re allowed to step away from the office for a little sacred hour. Excellent service means making you feel truly welcome—something we hope you experience with us, as we feel equally honored by your company during our lunch hours.
